Its highly interactive, hands-on approach to science and technology will give you a whole new perspective on everything from the human body to the study of the universe. Santa Cruz's Museum of Nature and Man is unquestionably one of Tenerife's most interesting, unique and eclectic museums. The museum has maintained its status as an Artistic Historical Monument since 1983- when you visit you'll easily see why! Housed in the Neoclassical former civilian hospital, wander through the spaces dedicated to Canarian flora and fauna, pre-Colombian art, Guanche mummies, fossils, ceramics, Canarian archaeological findings... and that's just a sampling!
